Pull up a chair, grab a whisky, and settle in for a night of alt-country, blues and folk storytelling with rising duo Frecko - Central Coast/Sydney-based “concrete cowboys” whose debut album Dreams Are Hard to Sell hit #1 on the Australian Country Charts earlier this year.
Frecko’s sound is steeped in the romance of the Australian story, blending raw emotion with a storyteller’s charm – think Jason Isbell meets Paul Kelly, with a few nods to The Band and the Allman Brothers along the way.
With a new album on the way this September, they're keen to bring their heartfelt, high-energy set to the Blue Mountains and Bootlegger is the perfect spot for it.
